NTU Girls Lacrosse
I was able to photograph my first ever game of Lacrosse last week. I had no idea how the game worked but followed the ball as I usually do in football and the results turned out pretty well! I have posted some of my favourite shots the NTU girls playing UEA, a game which they easily won.

Grantham Ultra - Day 2
Here are some of my favourite photos from Day 2 of the Grantham Ultra, another day , another 50km for the runners. No sweat!
The weather was fantastic on the sunday, sunny all day. The race again got off to an great start. Around 80 runners ran the second day.
A series of gels and high glucose bars were available at all checkpoints for runners.
Again I played with the long shots of the runners.
After the awesome results on saturday, I couldn't resist using the wide angle again.
A series of finishers were greeted optimistically by Rory Coleman, the race organiser.
All in all, it was again a great day shooting and was fantastic to see so many runners enjoying themselves. A brilliant weekend shooting and I would love to do it again.

Grantham Ultra - Day 1
After photographing the London Ultra Race last month, I was this month asked to photograph the Grantham Ultra. This was a two day race, with around 100 Runners. James Cracknell was supposed to put in an appearance on the second day but annoyingly pulled out with an injury. This is a small portfolio of some of my favourite images of the first day.
Two of the front runners at the start.
I was tasked at getting a series of runner portraits and full body shots, which when they come thick and fast isn't the easiest task in the world..!
I then had a play with some wide-angle shots, really enjoying the effect produced.
Day 1 was a great day, with no drop outs and all runners performing well. A great day for shots too. View my portfolio here of the weekend's photos : http://www.pbase.com/richardchapman/grantham_ultra

Here's the winner finishing in a time of 3hrs 18mins, after running 50km.
Some just seemed overall happy to finish the race.
