Making an Impact - Jigsaw4u Conference

Today I photographed the 'Making an Impact' Conference for the charity 'Jigsaw4u'. Jigsaw4u are a charity that help children who are bereaved, running away etc. They currently do work throughout Surrey and London.

The day was great fun, allowing me experiment with all sorts of portraiture and lighting. I had a arm full of lens' at my disposal too! A few of my favourite shots are pictured! Some of the children pictured won the Diana award certificate of excellence!

Also a big shout out to Barney Webster for letting me borrow his 50mm 1.8 and 430ex II. They were both awesome fun too play with!

Clare and Mayo Return

I have returned from Mayo and Clare and had a really awesome time.

Took loads of street and nature images throughout my four day visit.

Will post a link in the next few weeks of the images and write up.

Ireland - Co Clare and Mayo

I will be flying to Shannon Airport in County Clare in Ireland tomorow.

I will be hoping to take hundreds of pictures over the few days I am there as well from County Mayo which I too will be visiting.

I have been running my photography as a business now for a year!

Its been a very eventful time and really enjoyable.

New Website and Blog

I have recreated my website and blog, with a new theme/branding.

I decided that it was worth a change around and I think the new site is running really well and I am loving the new layout. It took me a month of hard work and is great to see finished!

SNOW!

Waking up at 6.30am and finding college was closed was quite a good start to the day!
They said it was the most snow that we have had in the UK since 1991. Where I am in Surrey, there was a good 8 inches on the ground at least. Certainly the most snow i have ever encountered!

Spent the morning exploring around my home, seeing many people out and about in the snow having fun. The roads were empty except for a few brave people in 4x4's. Then we grabbed the sledges and went sledding at a local closed golfcourse, On the way seeing many abandoned vehicles!

The huge hills were a big benefit, gaining some real speed. We added a few jumps, causing people to fly at all directions! Was a good laugh and real good fun.



Also found there is no college tomorow too ;-)
