Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Richard Chapman and I'm a photographer based in Surrey and Nottingham, England.

This blog combines my photographic work with my photographic play. It follows the recent personal and photography events in my life. Youth Expedition Sinai 08 Training Weekend #1


What a great weekend! Long and tiring but a good laugh all round. I managed to take 500 shots over the weekend as well!
We started off at Newlands corner, Guildford where we were filmed for the documentary for about 30 mins, we then spent about four hours hiking to Bentley Copse camp site. We then spent the weekend orienteering around the local area and really getting to know each other well. We all had a good laugh along the way. We then spent the night at the camp site. The next day we learned a few survival skills, which included me pretending to be lost and have heat stroke and dehydration! We then hiked back the next day for a few hours, and thorougly enjoyed ourselves!
